Registered products improve your score, but do not change the deprioritization. Eventually, everyone else in the queue in your tier will purchase a 30 Series product, and you will no longer be deprioritized and will now be ahead of people in lower tiers. For the ones that have not purchased a 30 Series card, sure, they will get a quicker path to getting a card. If you are in a high tier of points, chances are, a lot of the people also in the queue with you also bought 30 Series cards and are in the same boat as you.
However, keep in mind that this still follows tier-by-tier priority. That's a fair first reaction to reading this. do registered products require invoice upload/approval to count for points? or just register? if the later I foresee some folks just grabbing random serials online to register phantom products that they don't really own.
