Because she didn't have a professional degree, it was difficult to get a decent rewarding job and not being ashamed of it. After a number of clicks, the person at the jobcentre suggested a few roles like - a helping at hand a butcher shop, a pole dancer and stuffs like that. Lou, now jobless, visits a jobcentre to see if there is any vacant post for her. But due to economic disturbances, the café was shut down. Lou was working in a café and she was happy with her work there - Serving the guests with coffee and exchanging words with them. He follows a strict diet plan, even his get up portrays that he’s a fitness freak. Lou doesn’t like to work out much and she’s someone who can munch anything but not veggies (not all the time) but on the other hand, Patrick (her boyfriend) is a fitness enthusiast who is always on a run. The family is going through critical times as the head of the family (her father) lost his job due to economic disturbances (and so did Lou). Louisa belongs to a middle-class family, with her mother, father, her sister Treena and her son and their grandfather living in harmony under the same shade. Beautiful, overthinker, simple from the outside, and complicated from the inside. The story is about a 27-year-old girl Louisa (Lou) who is just like any other young lady. A love story that is beautifully crafted with words and phrases that have the power to make you laugh, smile, frown, and giggle as you sniff its pages.
It’s my first time that I’m writing a book review! I don’t know what it takes to write it (I might be a reader but I’m not so good in explaining what a professional author is trying to communicate) but after reading this book, I wanted to pay my tribute and I thought maybe I should write about it because it’s the only way I can pay my respect and love for what I have just finished reading.
